Artworks 2013 coming soon!The second annual Artworks is scheduled for June 15, 2013, in Peterson Park. A full day of musical and dance performances, make-and-take art projects, art and food vendors, and art demonstrations are planned. We hope you can join us!

Artworks Vendor Application form
Noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 – Set-up completed by noon. – No teardown before 6:30 p,m, or end of last performance – Artworks will be held under the beautiful shade trees at Peterson Park, located one block north of Route 16 on Broadway Avenue from Second St.to Sixth St.. Art Vendor Application Process Fee will be $30 or a donation of an art piece that will be raffled off at our event. In an effort to make our day as interactive as possible, we are also offering to waive the fee if you are willing to do demonstrations through out the day or offer a hands-on activity for patrons. Contact Janahn Kolden at janahnadele@yahoo.com or 217-273-8296 if you are interested in waiving your fee. Vendors will be assigned a 12’x12’ space and electrical accessibility if needed. Application must include at least three photos of items and/or setup. Applications must be received in the Festival office no later than Friday, May 31st, 2013, in order to allow time for processing. Applications received after this date may not be guaranteed a spot in the festival. Spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Proof of Liability insurance, along with complete application form are required. Please contact your insurance agent for directions on this issue if you have questions. To be considered for participation in this year’s event, please complete all the information on the form at left. You will be notified in writing if your application has been accepted. School Age Programs Throughout the year, MAC partners with the school district and other local organizations and businesses to provide opportunities for children to explore the arts and develop their own talents. Mattoon Mural Arts For the past four years, we have partnered with the Phildadelphia Mural Arts Program with support from The Lumpkin Family Foundation to present murals of high art value. Adult Education Classes Art is about engagement. We offer at least two opportunities during the year for adult members of the community to experience the creation of art and to develop their talents.
